Make Money Online Using Forums
If you have been trying to make money online, you have by now realized, it is not that easy. One of the first essential steps in developing ways to make money online is the process of branding yourself. Most new marketers just want to jump in and start their sales pitch. You will quickly find out that is not a very appropriate way to get yourself recognized online. Internet Forums are a great way to ‘brand’ your name for free! However, there are some does and don’ts which really should be observed if you want the right kind of branding.
First, before joining any Forum, read all the rules, they are not put there just for fun. These rules are fair, common sense really and keep the forums user friendly for everyone. Each Forums’ rules differ slightly. Most allow you to post a direct link to your business through a signature file.
If you enter a forum and just advertise blatantly your business, I can almost promise you that you will be labeled a spammer and you will find it very difficult to make money online with that label on you. The reason these rules are put in place is to stop spammers from joining a Forum, posting nothing more than a Sales Pitch and contributing nothing whatsoever to the Forum. Having said that, now let’s get down to how you can brand yourself.
Many people use the forums and most are looking for help in some particular area. It maybe technical help, or where to find a particular product, what is the best software, it really does depend on the Forum as to what types of questions are being asked. However, you will of course joined a Forum which matches your particular interest, so finding a question that you can answer shouldn’t be too difficult. This is the whole purpose of branding yourself, giving good decisive, clear answers to other peoples’ questions. Having the correct approach to help people with their problems is just one of aspects of developing ways to make money online.
By giving people a good clear decisive answer to their question, you will over time, come to be recognized as an expert in that particular field. The “good post” type of answers are fine but to just leave it at good post is not really professional. This is something which amateurs will do all the time and whilst it does boost the amount of posts you have made, it will not brand your name as someone who knows what they are talking about. You will rarely if ever, see a top Internet Marketer making just a ‘good post’ comment, they always contribute something worthwhile to the thread.
If a thread has already been started, read through the entire thread so you are fully aware of what solutions other people have offered, you maybe able to add more information on the subject matter, if not move on and find another question which needs answering. Do make sure you do know what you are talking about, that your answers are up-to-date and are relevant, don’t rattle on about something you know little or nothing about, people will quickly see through a fake. I can again promise you that faking through a post is just not worth setting yourself up not to be able to make money online. You are in effect just wasting your time.
Write a post sharing something you have found to work really well for you is another way to brand yourself.. Again, make sure your post is clear, concise and helpful to other Forum Members. You do not need to be an expert in every field but there is sure to be one area in which you excel. Use it to brand your name.
You will find that once you can start using Forums correctly, over time you will become recognized as an expert, and once you have achieved this, your ability to make money online is vastly increased. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it will happen. Remember though DO NOT SPAM it will get you recognized, but for all the wrong reasons.
