You could record people’s testimonials with a mini tape recorder over
the phone, on your answering machine, or voice mail. Then you could
convert the recording into a online audio file and upload it to your

Have people mail you their testimonial on a postcard, scan it and

that the testimonial isn’t fake because it will have a post mark on

Home Business Idea #1; Wash and Fold

This home business is great because you can take a skill that you should already have, and then put it to good use to service people that do not have the skill, time, or the energy to do it. Offering a pick up and delivery laundry service means that you get someone’s clothes, wash and dry them, fold them, and then return the clothes to their house.

The only thing you will need for your home business is a washer, dryer and soap to wash the clothes. Be sure to check with your clients about any allergies or personal preferences. Some laundry companies require the client to provide their own laundry detergent for such reasons.

A great low cost way to advertise your home business is by placing inexpensive ads in Senior civic centers on Craigslist and in Penny Saver newspapers.

Why does a company go into business? To be of service to people is definitely a noble motivation. But even if you want to continue to be of service to people, they have to know about your business, so you need to have and maintain an ongoing supply of leads.
