Online sales are on the rise, becoming the norm. Over 50% of people in the US purchase products and services via the internet. And that number is growing rapidly. We purchase groceries to gardening supplies. A business grew up to sell our private information to the public; our names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses are now being sold and resold so that you and I can be harassed by unwanted phone calls, huge influx of unwanted emails, stacks of what we call ‘junk’ mail and so on.
